Safety and community guidelines
Briefs Social should be a friendly place. These are the rules everyone agrees to, and the tools you have if someone breaks them.
Who can use Briefs Social
You must be at least 13. People under 18 need a parent or guardian's agreement when they sign up. Going live is only for people 18 and over.
What is not allowed
- Bullying, harassment, threats or hate towards anyone.
- Sexual content involving children, or any sexual content aimed at minors. This is reported to the authorities.
- Nudity, graphic violence, and anything that encourages self-harm.
- Scams, fake accounts, spam, and pretending to be someone else.
- Selling anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit or dangerous.
Report and block
Every post, comment, message, profile, community and live video can be reported from its menu. Blocking someone hides you from each other. Reports are reviewed, and accounts that break the rules can be limited or disabled.
Your privacy controls
In Settings and on your profile you can keep your friends and followers lists private, limit who can message you, choose what shows in your About section, and hide your active status. Read our privacy policy for how your information is handled.
Live video
Hosts must be 18 or over and must give every live a heading and a description. Viewers can only join if the host accepts them. Briefs Social does not record live video. Report a live from inside it if something is wrong.
Buying and selling
Meet in a public place, check items before paying, and do not pay in advance to people you do not know. See buying and selling safely.
For parents and guardians
Read our child safety standards. To ask about a child's account or to report a concern, see contact.
