Briefs has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any behaviour that endangers minors. This page explains our standards and how to report a concern.
Creating, uploading, sharing, soliciting, or linking to child sexual abuse material anywhere on Briefs is strictly prohibited. Any account found doing so is permanently banned and, where legally required, reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate authority in the user's jurisdiction.
Briefs is not intended for anyone under 13. Everyone gives their date of birth at sign-up, and anyone under 13 is turned away. 13–17 year olds can only sign up if a parent or guardian agrees. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, or to a 13–17 year old without a parent's agreement, we delete it.
Every post, comment, message, and profile on Briefs can be reported directly from within the app using the report option in the "…" menu. Reported content is reviewed and, where it violates these standards, removed and the account is actioned — up to and including a permanent ban. Users can also block another account at any time to immediately stop that person from contacting them or seeing their content.
If you believe a child is being endangered on Briefs, or you've found CSAM on the platform, report it in-app immediately, or email us directly at info@zareg.co.za with as much detail as you can provide (link, username, screenshots). We treat these reports as urgent and respond as a priority.
Our designated point of contact for child safety and CSAM compliance matters is reachable at info@zareg.co.za.
We cooperate with law enforcement and regulators investigating child safety violations, and will disclose account information when required by a valid legal request, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
